Follow these steps to secure your spot on our wait list.
Apply Online
Start by filling out our Adoption Application. This is a short online form that will let us know a little about you, your lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a puppy. Remember, completion of our application does not guarantee that you will be approved or commit you to anything just yet. It’s only the first step to initiate a conversation with us. We want to make sure our program is a good fit for your family and that we can do a great job getting you the right dog. Our application helps us make sure we are both a good fit for one another.
Wait For Approval
Wait to hear back from us via email about your application status. We typically reply within 24 hours, but usually within a couple of hours if submitted during normal business hours. We’ll respond with either your approval or refusal. We reserve the right to deny anyone at any time if we feel that they’re not the right fit for one of our puppies.
Submit Reservation Fee
You will be notified via email with your approval or denial. If approved you will receive the link to fill out our Reservation Agreement. Once we receive the agreement back, we will promptly email you the invoice that you can pay securely online for $500 USD to join our waitlist. Your reservation fee will be deducted from the final price of the puppy.
Disclaimer: If you're applying for a puppy that's currently listed as available, it's always possible that someone else may be inquiring about the same puppy. Please keep in mind that we do not hold puppies, therefore you should be prepared to move forward and pay upon approval. All puppies are considered available until payment has been received.
VIP Access
Once we've receive your deposit, you will gain access to:
- Private VIP Facebook group that consists of other families such as yourself that are on the wait list to get a puppy, and those who already have a puppy. We encourage you to be active and feel free to reach out to anyone in the group. We are all here to support you and your future pup!
- The password to access the VIP section on the website. There you will find a plethora of info that we do not make public including litters that are not yet posted on the website, and a ton of info to help prepare you for your pups homecoming.
- PUPDATES!!! Your email address will be added to our BCC list and you will be included in all of our litter pupdate emails. It’s fun to follow along the journey of each litter and puppy!
- Once you pick your puppy, we want to set you and your puppy up for success right away! That is why everyone who adopts a puppy from us get a FREE Lifetime Membership to BAXTER & Bella’s Online Puppy School.
Wait
This is the hardest part of the whole process but we promise our pups are worth it! We often get asked, “How long is the wait?” Because we are at Mother Nature’s mercy, we cannot control things like heat cycles, pregnancies, numbers of pups born, coat and eye colors. These factors all play a part in which families will be interested in any given litter. Keep in mind that each family has an idea of what they’re looking for in their future companion, just as you do. For that reason, our wait list is ever changing. We offer each family the flexibility to remain on the wait list for as long a they need to find their perfect puppy. Nobody is locked into a specific litter. Families that are ahead of you on rank may pass on a current litter and choose to wait for a future litter. If enough families do this, you may unexpectedly have the chance to choose a kismet puppy from that current litter.
Please Note
Typically, families who are more flexible when it comes to their preferences for their future puppy's gender, coat/eye color, size, preferred take home timing, etc. will often find their match and bring a puppy home much sooner than someone with a longer list of criteria. If you are a person with specific preferences when it comes to these things, that is great too, just know that you may experience a longer wait time to find your perfect puppy! Every family is different, and that's okay!
As you can imagine it's pretty hard to give an accurate estimate on when you could take home a puppy. Our best GUESS would be 0-3 months for a TRI, and 4-6 months for a MERLE.
